Cheveux Deluxe

This is my last work week before I go out of town for a week! My last day will be Saturday Dec 6th and I will return to work Monday Dec 15th. Call soon if you want to come in before I leave!

We will be closed on Thanksgiving day!  Isabella is taking off Friday, the 28th, and I will be working 1-8.

We now have the 2009 Old Dog Haven calendars! They are asking for a $20 tax deductible donation. It is a great cause and has a mini profile of our Betty in it!

We will be closing early on Halloween! I will be woking from 2 - 6 and we will be back to our regular hours on Saturday.

Walter is about 7, possibly a few years older, and super sweet! He is 20 pounds and lively and spry like a young dog. Walter is housebroken and loves everyone, including kids.

Care2 is hosting a “favorite shelter” contest, with cash prizes to the winning shelters. You can vote for OldDog Haven HERE. While they are not technically a shelter, they are now helping and housing more dogs than many shelters do.

I wanted to brighten up my area at work, so I went in today (with Darby’s help) and painted the East wall.

I think it is a good change!

Kammi’s adopter backed out at the last minute so she is still looking for a home.

Old Dog Haven sent her to the vet and her blood work is great and she is healthy, but X rays showed she has a pellet in her back knee where someone shot her at some point. It slows her down a little, but she is otherwise doing very well. Kammi LOVES to be loved on and is looking for a home with someone who can spend a lot of time with her.
